Sappanwood Iced-Fruit

In addition to provide instant energy, this fresh drink is also rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber. It is good for the opening menu after a day of fasting. This sweet drink should be drunk limitedly because it can make you full and not want to eat the main meal.

To relieve latex in pineapple, coat it with salt. Rub and rinse with lukewarm water.

Ingredients:

700 ml water
250 g sugar
25 g sappanwood
3 cloves
5 cm cinnamon
200 g pineapple, cut into 2 cm
200 g melon, roundly raked
200 g papaya, roundly raked
5 sugar-palm fruits, split into four
150 g nata de coco
900 g shaved ice

How to make:

1. Pour water, sugar, sappanwood, cloves and cinnamon into a pan. Cook until sugar is dissolved. Strain.

2. Add pineapple. Boil over low heat until pineapple smells tasty. Turn off the heat.

3. Once it is cool, add melon, papaya, sugar-palm fruits and nata de coco. Stir well.

4. Serve this iced fruit with shaved ice.

For eight cups.
