Marine fish for arthritis

Actually, there's no special diet to reduce pain if you're with arthritis. What important is to eat balanced diet and to keep the weight off.

But it's suggested you consume a lot of variety of fruits, vegetables and grains.

If you're with arthritis, eat more omega-3 fatty acids in marine fish and other seafoods. These fatty acids can reduce joint inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis or gout, a chronic type caused by autoimmune system of the body.

In addition, adequate intake of vitamin D and calcium are also needed to prevent osteoporosis because you tend to get due to lack of movement. If you're still healthy, foods rich in zinc and selenium may help to prevent arthritis.

Both minerals are widely available in low-fat beef, wheat bread, eggs, almonds, milk, tempeh and tofu.
