Sugar Cookies

Preparations for those celebrating holidays, we present some cookies recipes. To get a crisp pastry, when adding flour, turn off the mixer and not too much stirred.

  • 130 grams of margarine
  • 50 grams of dairy butter
  • 80 grams of powdered sugar
  • 225 grams of flour
  • 100 grams of cashew nuts, roasted
  • 200 grams of powdered sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
How to make:
  • Beat the margarine and dairy butter and sugar until soft.
  • Add the flour little by little while stirred. Interspersed with cashews but not for too long stirred.
  • Keep the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap.
  • Remove the dough. Roll 0.5 cm thick. Shape according to taste.
  • Bake on the bottom shelf of the oven to a temperature of 160 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
  • Beat the egg white until slightly frothy.
  • Add the powdered sugar gradually while continuing to shake. Last, insert lemon juice. Stir well. If you want the glaze not only white, divide the dough into pieces, then give a few drops of food coloring.
  • Apply the glaze evenly to the surface of the cake until the desired thickness is obtained. It could also be done with syringe but not to touch the cake.
  • Allow the glaze to dry completely.
